Kari serves as a trusted advisor to hundreds of small business owners, corporate executives and office building owners in the suburban southwest office market of Minneapolis.  Kari is a recognized leader and local expert in office relocations and a top producing agent.  Kari’s in-depth knowledge of the local office market and experience in managing lease negotiations make her a small business owner’s greatest asset for growing or relocating their office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Vice-President at Kendall Commercial Advisors, Kari works on smaller, private client requirements and is a lead leasing agent for Kendall Commercial office building listings.

In her other role, Kari manages the accounting responsibilities for Kendall Commercial Advisors property management division.  Her responsibilities include AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, annual CAM reconciliations and tenant-owner communications.  Kari’s attention to detail and organizational skills make her a perfect fit as an office and property accounting manager.

Kari’s greatest accomplishment is her dedication to her four daughters and her husband Tom. She is often called SuperWoman because of her ability to multitask her busy family life with four active daughters. In the little free time she has, Kari enjoys volunteering with community organizations, being an active member in her church and gardening.

Property Maintenance Manager

Chris serves Kendall Commercial Advisor’s property management clients (and their tenants) with on-site maintenance and repair support.  Chris is a highly skilled and experienced facilities technician and manager with over 30 years of experience.  Chris has a strong background in construction and building maintenance, and is very adept at finding solutions to most any service request.  His strong work ethic and quick response time serves Kendall Commercial Advisor’s tenants and building owners well.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As Property Maintenance Manager for Kendall Commercial Advisors, Chris makes routine visits to each property, inspecting its’ condition and proactively heading off repairs before they become problemsome.  Chris routinely logs low pressure boilers and holds a “Chief C Minnesota Boiler License”.  He also has a Commercial Refrigeration Certificate.  Chris takes continuing education classes to stay ahead of changes in building operations.  Chris has managed hundreds of remodeling projects as large as 50,000/SF and has managed as many as 43 different properties at one time.

PERSONAL
Chris lives in Victoria, Minnesota with his two boys, wife and two yellow labs.  Chris was a Boy Scout leader and volunteers time in his community.  He’s also an avid University of Minnesota football sports fan…Go Gophers!

Jen Johnston
Marketing Coordinator

Jen serves as Kendall Commercial Advisors’ marketing coordinator and executes marketing campaigns on behalf of clients across all channels. She manages various forms of print and digital design as well as social outreach in order to enhance overall company presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Jen’s background of working in legal offices serves our clients well because of her excellent attention to detail, her knowledge of multiple computer programs and her expertise in various online marketing tools. Jen uses her overall creativity to produce attractive and informative marketing tools for all of Kendall Commercial Advisors’ clients.

PERSONAL
Being a University of Minnesota graduate, Jen enjoys living in the same city as her alma mater and attending various collegiate events such as hockey and football games and the annual Homecoming parade. Along with her husband and two children, she enjoys traveling to new and adventurous places that hopefully include a beach and a lot of sunshine.
